About Dr. Wortham
Dr. Wortham has been providing dental care in Western Kentucky since
1981. Dr. Wortham graduated from the University of Kentucky's School of
Dentistry in 1981 with distinction. He began his first practice in
Bardwell, Kentucky and shortly thereafter moved to Murray, Kentucky
were he began a partnership with Dr. Woodfin Hutson.
In 1985 Dr. Wortham moved his practice to Kentucky Avenue in
Paducah. After practicing for 22 years he moved to the current location
on south 28th Street near the Western Baptist Medical Center. The new
location will provide an opportunity to incorporate the latest
technology while maintaining the personal attention that each patient
deserves.

Dr. Wortham has done extensive continual education focusing on functional occlusion. This education allows predictable treatment for extensive reconstructions and TMJ problems to the everyday care of normal dental solutions.
UPDATE:
Recently Dr. Wortham has completed the certification to become a
Fellowship member of DOCS (Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation).
As a Fellowship member of DOCS, Dr. Wortham is an active participant in
the education of his peers through documenting cases and contributing
articles and case studies to the DOCS Digest.

Dr. Wortham's experience and attention to detail has cemented his status as the premier gentle dentist in the area.
Memberships
Membership in the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology has trained Dr.Wortham in the most healthful techniques for true dental health. Mercury amalgam removal techniques protect you from mercury poisoning.
Dr. Wortham is also a member of DOCS, the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation. His membership reaffirms his commitment to his patients' complete comfort while in his care.
